Michael “Mike” Elliott is the founder and President of Elliott Properties, Inc. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned both Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees with honors.
After completing his studies, Mike remained in Austin and began his career in commercial real estate in 1983. Ten years later, in 1993, he founded Elliott Properties, Inc.
For more than three decades, the company maintained its business office in Austin while providing commercial real estate services throughout Central Texas. In late 2025, Elliott Properties relocated its office to historic downtown in lovely Lampasas, Texas.
Throughout his career, Mike has remained actively involved in his church and numerous civic, educational, political, and charitable organizations. For more than 30 years, he has also been a dedicated supporter of the U.S. military and veteran community in Central Texas. He is especially proud to have served as an early volunteer and financial supporter of the National Mounted Warrior Museum at the main entrance to Fort Hood, Texas.
Outside of his professional and community commitments, Mike enjoys dogs, baseball, country music, and great Texas barbecue.
OUR TEAM
Rosie Kennedy serves as Elliott Properties' Director of Operations, Research, and Creative Services. Her energy, determination, and solutions-oriented mindset help keep the company moving forward while ensuring that every project is approached with creativity, organization, and attention to detail.
Originally from Los Angeles, California, Rosie is a lifelong Los Angeles Dodgers fan. Nearly two decades ago, she and her family made Texas their home, where they have embraced the community and remained actively involved in their children's athletic activities.
Following Elliott Properties' relocation from Austin to Lampasas in late 2025, Rosie has enjoyed building relationships throughout the community and becoming involved with several local organizations. She is an active supporter of the Kiwanis Club of Lampasas, the Lampasas Association for the Arts (LAFTA), and the Building Badgers Youth Sports Program.
While Texas may not be her birthplace, Rosie and her family proudly embrace the saying, "We got here as soon as we could." Her passion for people, commitment to service, and enthusiasm for the Lampasas community reflect the values that define Elliott Properties.
Tasha Bates is the most recent addition to our team at Elliott Properties, Inc. as the Executive Assistant and Coordinator of Community Engagement. She helps with the day to day operations and keeps us engaged with the local Lampasas community.
After graduating college, Tasha moved to Lampasas County where she has either worked in sales and marketing or bookkeeping for places like Lampasas Radio, Lampasas County, Heritage Funeral Home, and the Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce. Tasha is also a member of the local Kiwanis club as well as Lampasas Community Church.
Tasha, along with husband Billy, own and operate Broken B Erectors as well as a small ranch in west Lampasas County – which was honored to be acknowledged with the family heritage designation by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Their family loves spending time together, ranching and hunting in this great state of Texas.
